Welcome to AOWA Organization

Human trafficking is one of the most serious violations of human rights, depriving millions of women, men, and children of their freedom, dignity, and future. Combating this crime is a shared responsibility that requires the collective efforts of governments, civil society organizations, humanitarian actors, communities, and individuals.

On the occasion of the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, Afghanistan Organization Women Arise (AOWA) reaffirms its commitment to raising awareness, preventing exploitation, protecting vulnerable people, and promoting human dignity.

AOWA believes that education, social services, healthcare, and agriculture play a vital role in reducing vulnerability and empowering communities. Through these four areas of work, the organization strives to improve the well-being of people across Afghanistan and contribute to safer, stronger, and more resilient communities.

On this important day, we call upon our partners, stakeholders, and communities to stand together in preventing human trafficking, supporting survivors, and promoting respect for the rights and dignity of every person.
