Welcome to AOWA Organization

As the 1405 academic year approaches, it is deeply concerning that thousands of girls and boys across different parts of Afghanistan have lost access to education following the closure of the Community-Based Education (CBE) program. Many of these children, who until recently attended their classes with hope and motivation, now face uncertainty and distress, as their educational futures are increasingly at risk.

Afghanistan Organization Women Arise (AOWA) believes that education is not only a fundamental driver of individual and social development, but also a right strongly emphasized in Islam. Ensuring access to education for all children—particularly girls—represents a critical investment in a more resilient, informed, and prosperous society.

In light of these challenges, we respectfully call upon relevant national authorities, national and international organizations, and the global community to work collaboratively to identify practical and sustainable solutions that prevent further disruption to children’s education. Particular attention should be given to ensuring continued access to learning opportunities for children living in underserved and remote communities.

Afghanistan Organization Women Arise (AOWA) remains committed to advancing knowledge, promoting awareness, and supporting the empowerment of communities—especially women and children—within the framework of Islamic and humanitarian values.

Education is the light of the future and the key to societal progress.
