Afghanistan Organization Women Arise
AWOA is a domestic, independent, non-governmental, and non-profit institution. It was officially registered with the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan on September 8, 2007 (17/3/1386 in the Solar Hijri calendar), under decision No. (969) of the High Commission for the Evaluation of Non-Governmental Organizations. The organization holds an official license to operate both in the capital and across the provinces of the country. In accordance with its charter, AOWA works in four key sectors: social services, education, agriculture, and health. With a voluntary and humanitarian approach, the organization is committed to providing services to vulnerable and disadvantaged groups of society, regardless of ethnicity, language, gender, religion, region, or political affiliation.

Membership Criteria

Any individual who believes in the humanitarian principles and objectives of this organization and is willing to volunteer in serving the people of Afghanistan, regardless of political, ethnic, regional, racial, or gender affiliation, may obtain membership in AOWA by accepting the institution’s terms and regulations.
